His cold voice quivered at the very end as if his entire being was on the verge of falling apart. Riize clutched her fingers, not daring to raise her eyes as she was afraid that her strong resolution would crumble the moment she saw his miserable state.

“Yes.”

Her voice was firm, leaving no space for doubt to bloom. 

“I wouldn’t have left as for the least, for once at that time, I had come to love you not because of whatever you are in the past but because, I learnt to embrace your shortcomings and desire you for whoever you are.”
